DIY Natural Sleep Salve
Ingredients
- 8 oz Shea Butter
- 12 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
- 2 teaspoons Beeswax
- 1 Empty Heat Resistant Container (Such as a Mason Jar)
- 1 Sauce Pan (Or double boiler)
Instructions
- Fill the sauce pan halfway full with water and bring to a boil or use a double boiler.
- Place a heat-resistant container onto the stove top and add beeswax and shea butter.
- Allow mixture to come to a boil and melt completely.
- Once completely melted remove from heat.
- Carefully stir until the mixture has cooled.
- Add lavender essential oil.
- Stir until all ingredients are blended.
- Pour the mixture into heat heat-resistant container.
- Allow to cool before use.
- Label and store away from kids or pets.
To Use
Apply to chest, neck, and wrists an hour before bedtime to naturally induce calm and sleep.
